It was bound to happen. That we, The CineFiles, would return to discuss Bond, James Bond. This time we focus on the Daniel Craig era, a topic a lot of our fans have been looking forward to. As Craig’s fourth 007 adventure SPECTRE kicks off its production, Jeff, Andre and myself talk about the history regarding the many attempts to adapt Ian Fleming’s first James Bond novel Casino Royale, the initial reaction to the casting of Daniel Craig and then detour a bit on the subject of JAMES BOND, JR. That’s right: we talk about that gawd awful cartoon that featured the brood of some of the popular characters of the James Bond universe.

As this is the first of a two-parter, our episode concludes with our thoughts on the movie CASINO ROYALE. Stay tuned for our second part as we discuss QUANTUM OF SOLACE, SKYFALL and provide some guess work as to what we can anticipate with this year’s SPECTRE. Like us on Facebook. Follow us on twitter. And please give us your thoughts on the Daniel Craig era of James Bond films.
