Continuing with the second part of our FILMS OF SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE series, we focus on WAYNE’S WORLD, WAYNE’S WORLD 2, CONEHEADS and IT’S PAT! Jeff, Andre and myself are good with the first two. Not so much with the third. Thank God JOE DIRT wasn’t a SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE property.

Now half way through this segment, you’ll start to see the depression setting in. Because after CONEHEADS it goes all downhill from here. Which makes me wonder if SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE had already reached it’s peak at this point. Anyway, while you watch this part, I’ll quietly step away and slip a copy of Bohemian Rhapsody into my tape deck.

I have seen “It’s Pat” and you aren’t missing anything. There’s not much plot, it’s episodic. At one point he/she becomes a late night talk radio personality and I don’t remember why. I also never liked that his/her significant other, Chris, was played by Dave Foley in the movie when it was I think David Spade on SNL. Didn’t see the need to cross-pollinate with Kids in the Hall there.
